What makes you happy?

These are some of the things most people would answer with any of these ๐Ÿ‘‡

  • The beach
  • A nice car
  • Loving relationship
  • Being with friends
  • Lots of money
  • Listening to your favorite song
  • Beautiful home
  • Ice cream

These are all great things. And I'm sure they make lots of people feel happy.

But the truth is...true joy doesn't come from outside things.

True joy comes from within.

Why's it important to know that?

Well, what if I asked you what makes you unhappy?

Here are some things you might say ๐Ÿ‘‡

  • Being broke
  • Hating your job
  • Your business failed
  • Missed your flight
  • Lost or broke your phone
  • Bad weather
  • Failed a test
  • Your car broke down
  • Recent breakup
  • The roof is leaking

Sure...those thing suck. And I can see how they'd make you feel bad.

But the truth is...these things listed above aren't what's making you feel sad.

What's bringing you down is your negative mindset.

More specifically, thoughts like these:


Even if you don't want to admit it, most people have some type of negative thought on a daily basis.

The worst part is that since they happen inside your mind, you listen to it and you believe it to be a fact. When really, it might now be.

Happiness isn't dependent on whether you have or don't have something.

Happiness begins and ends with your mindset.

Don't worry. Negative thoughts can be stopped.

More specifically, the habit of negative thinking can be changed.

The same way that you can get your body into shape, you can also get your mind back in shape.
